Hi my name Brad Robinson and I was interested in getting my CRX into the “Readers Rides” section of your magazine.  The car has came a long way from its days in the summer of ’07 when I bought the scrap yard bound, beat up, excuse of a car body.  As any old project requires, old parts had to be replaced with new parts, which are not mentioned in my aftermarket list. The shots were recently taken after a major snow storm in Washington D.C.  I broke out a Pentax K1000, which was stored in the depths of my closet and has not been thought about since my high school photography class.
The car is a little dirty though I spent a descent amount of time detailing the car before each shot. Yes I washed the car, wiped it down with paper towels drenched with cleaner, and received smart ass comments from pedestrians asking me to detail there deutsh wagon.   If the car is not clean enough in the pic’s, I can do another shoot on a nicer day with my refreshed caveman photographic capabilities.  The car will be raced at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia in the summer of ‘10.  Till then I will work on getting the body and rims highly presentable using my pre-army profession, custom painting.
