I bought the car used with forged internals and a 50 trim t3/t4 set up. I started modifying it with an all new cooling system, basic piggy-back fuel management, had a custom 3" mandrel bent turbo-back exhaust made for it. After having a new Walbro hi-flow put in I had it tuned at 8lbs of boost and got 225 out of it at National Speed in Wilmington. Recently I've pulled the head apart and had it ported, angled valves and put Brian Crower stage two turbo-grind cams in with corresponding springs and retainers. Two months later I had to pull the whole motor when the head started sounding like it wasn't receiving adequate oil pressure and manual gauges read 3psi at idle. Upon dissection all parts were in great condition, clearances were within good boundaries and no cause for lack of oil pressure were found. Currently it is being reassembled with new rings, bearings and seals. A few goodies waiting to compliment rebuilt motor; fresh new turbo, new AEM TruBoost, some serious wire clean up, and a freshly painted engine bay.
