I had this car longer than the Subaru distributor has been on Guam. It was mainly an auto-x car since I was the RE of the local SCCA region. It has also won a couple of car shows along the way. My focus of modifications have been ease of maintenance and performance since we have very limited resources on Guam and shipping is not cheap. My youngest son Matthew aged 7 has dibbs on this car until he is able to drive. Some of my modifications are, Racecomp Engineering springs and a camber plate. I have Cobb swaybars with kartboy end links at both ends. I have Ferodo DS2500 brake pads at all 4 corners ans well as Goodridge stainless steel brake hoses and a Cusco Brake master cylinder brace to eliminate the firewall flex. To be able to turn in faster I have installed a Q-rack 11:5 ratio steering rack.To keep the front flex under control I have a JDM STI strut bar. For HP its your Cobb Acessport, Invidia N1 race exhaust, catless DP, Perrin Turbo inlet, SPT Intake with a custom heat shield, Samco Hoses,STI intercooler hose, SPT turbo heat shield, CObb stage II OTS map. I also have a Killer B oil pick up pipe and a high capacity aluminum oil pan. To trim the fat I have a Braille lighweight battery and an Oswald Aluminum front bumper beam. For safety I have a Sparco harness bar. For the interior I have a Hella Map light and a JDM Hazard switch. To keep tab of the engine I have a set of Prosport Gauges. On the exterior I just have a carbon fiber exhaust heat shield. My car still has no radio at this point I just love the sound of the boxer engine!
